Meet Emily
Delray Beach Team
Hi! My name is Emily, and I specialize in working with children, teens, and young adults on challenges such as anxiety, OCD, self-esteem, life transitions, school-related stress, and family conflict. I also work with parents on strategies that support stronger connections at home and make daily life feel more manageable. I earned my B.S. in Family, Youth, and Community Sciences from the University of Florida and my M.Ed./Ed.S. in Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling from Florida Atlantic University. My professional background includes working in school settings, where I supported students and families through both academic pressures and personal challenges.
My counseling style is client-centered, supportive, and collaborative. While I use tools from different approaches, I believe the heart of therapy is the relationship we build together. I aim to create a space where you feel safe to be yourself, and I use humor, empathy, and practical strategies to make the process feel both approachable and meaningful. I also weave in psychoeducation around communication and healthy relationships so you can take what we talk about into your daily life.
If we work together, my hope is that therapy becomes more than a place to "fix" a problem. It's a space where you feel understood, supported, and able to grow over time. We'll work on coping skills and self-esteem, but we'll also focus on developing lasting insights you can carry with you long after each session.
