Devon is a licensed mental health counselor and she is currently getting her doctorate in marriage and family therapy at Nova Southeastern University where she is currently working on her dissertation. Devon has great amount of experience working with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, anger management, life planning, goal setting, drug addiction, eating disorders, family and relationship dynamics, and conflict resolution. Devon believes in empowering others to take responsibility for their own choices and bring change to their own lives instead of letting emotions and thoughts control them.
Devon enjoys working with individuals and couples. She creates a genuine and unbiased atmosphere that helps her clients go through the process of life experiences and make choices at their own pace. Devon is bases in Bowen theory but also uses Existential Therapy, Person Centered, Gestalt and Psychodrama, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and influenced by Esther Perel.
