Dr. Teresa Boland is a Fellow of Integrative Psychiatry, a Fellow of the American Academy of Anti-Aging/Regenerative Medicine and she holds a certification in Addiction. She is a Psychiatric Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist as well as a Certified Life Coach. In addition, she holds a certification in Sports Nutrition as well as a diploma for Dietary Supplement Counselor (Dip. DSC). Teresa is certified in Critical Incident Stress Debriefing, in Clinical Hypnotherapy and as a Trauma and Loss Specialist and Consultant. She has held certification as a Bereavement Facilitator and as a certified Supreme Court Family Mediator.
For almost 30 years, her professional duties have included providing psychiatric evaluations and medication management, ordering and interpreting diagnostic studies and lab tests, prescribing medications and treatments, as well as non-pharmacological therapies. She utilizes the most efficacious pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, amino acids and vitamins to restore function and ensure optimal health for her patients. She provides patient education and encourages patients to become co-laborers in their treatment.
Teresa’s personal initiatives in recent years have included completing two medical mission trips to Haiti as well as a three-week volunteer army duty in Israel for the Israeli Defense Force. Keeping physically fit is important to Teresa. She enjoys martial arts and has trained in Haganah (Israeli Krav Maga and Hand-to-Hand Combat) / Muay Thai for six years. She also co-hosted a monthly radio show for a year and a half which dealt with medical, psychiatric and therapy issues. In addition, most recently, she was on the panel of hosts for a radio show and a pilot TV presentation called Life Matterz TM.
