Grace Snediker is a graduate student in the Couples and Family Therapy program at Nova Southeastern University and is currently completing her practicum at Marriage and Family Services. Originally from New Jersey, Grace moved to Florida to attend the University of Florida, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a minor in Spanish. She is passionate about helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges while promoting lasting change.
Grace began her clinical journey as a Crisis Counselor at the Alachua County Crisis Center, where she provided crisis intervention through the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, conducted suicide risk assessments, developed safety plans, and connected individuals with essential community resources. Working with people during some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives strengthened her ability to remain grounded and present during times of crisis.
She later completed her internal practicum at Nova Southeastern University’s Individual, Couple, and Family Therapy Clinic, where she provided therapy to individuals, couples, and families under live supervision while developing systemic case conceptualization skills and individualized treatment approaches. In addition to her clinical training, Grace currently works as a Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) Treater at Marriage & Family Services, providing FDA-cleared TMS treatment for individuals experiencing Major Depressive Disorder.
Grace approaches therapy from a systemic perspective, recognizing that every individual’s experiences are shaped by the relationships, patterns, and environments that influence their lives. She strives to cultivate a safe and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard and respected. Guided by the values of hope, empathy, authenticity, collaboration, and growth, Grace believes meaningful change occurs through genuine connection and a strong therapeutic relationship.
She welcomes individuals, couples, and families from diverse backgrounds, cultures, identities, and age groups. As an advocate for social justice, Grace is committed to cultivating an inclusive space where healing, resilience, and personal growth can thrive. She understands that change can be overwhelming and is eager to support clients as they navigate life challenges and work toward the future they envision.
