Andrea Toyos holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Science in Counseling, both from Nova Southeastern University. She has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults across school, community, and clinical settings. Andrea has worked in developmental play therapy environments, early childhood programs, and outpatient counseling, giving her a strong foundation in supporting clients through a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and developmental concerns.
Andrea has supported clients navigating anxiety, adjustment disorders, family transitions, self-esteem challenges, neurodevelopmental differences such as Autism and ADHD, and social or school-related stress.
Andrea approaches therapy with warmth, patience, and curiosity. She values the therapeutic relationship above all and works to create a space where clients feel understood, empowered, and free of judgment. Her counseling style integrates developmental, relational, and strengths-based approaches, allowing her to tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs, cultural context, and lived experiences.
