Rachael graduated from Nova Southeastern University (NSU) with her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and is a proud alumni of Chapman University where she graduated with a major in Psychology and minored in Health Sciences.

While completing her Master’s degree, Rachael utilized Marriage and Family Services as her internship site, working under our clinical director Eric Mundt. She gained experience working with children in both a school and clinical setting while using a play therapy approach. She has experience working with a diverse population but found that working with children is where she thrives. She provides a safe environment where children can be their authentic selves and receive no judgment. Rachael utilizes a Solution Focused approach to her therapy, which ensures that she focuses on positives in her client’s lives and maintains an optimistic and hopeful attitude.

Since graduating, Rachael has transitioned to the administrative team to gain experience getting clients connected with a therapist that best fits their needs. She has found a passion in working with therapists directly while still interacting with clients. She will soon be registering with the state to pursue her life long goal of helping individuals that are struggling with mental health illnesses.
