Izzy was born and raised in Miami Beach and holds a bachelor’s degree in human development and family sciences from the University of Connecticut. She is currently pursuing her Master’s in Couple and Family Therapy at Nova Southeastern University, where her clinical work is grounded in family systems theory, complemented by narrative and solution-focused approaches.

Her love for working with families has been shaped by hands-on experience, from serving with AmeriCorps’ Jumpstart program to working as an assistant preschool teacher. These experiences sparked a lasting passion for working with children and parents, one that has since grown to include adolescents and couples at every stage of their relationship. She also holds a special interest in play therapy and the unique ways it can help clients express and process what words sometimes can’t.

As a systemic therapist, Izzy sees clients within the context of their relationships and environments She is deeply committed to a collaborative approach and creating a warm, comfortable space where clients feel empowered to guide the direction of their own therapy. More than anything, she’s excited to learn from and grow alongside all clients who walk through the door, and to bring genuine curiosity and care to every session.
