Marisa obtained her Bachelors in Family and Child Sciences from Florida State University (Go Noles!) and subsequently received her Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern. She is currently a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Florida.

After beginning her career with Marriage and Family Services, having completed her student internship as well as working as an administrative assistant, Marisa then transitioned into non-profit work, focusing on the homeless population struggling with substance abuse.

After gaining therapeutic experience with this population, Marisa then became a therapeutic supervisor. This is where she realized her love for working with therapists directly. Marisa then transitioned out of her therapeutic role and into administration, aiming to work with therapists, to ensure they have the resources needed to focus on their clients. Marisa loves bridging the gap between our clients and our therapists to create an environment that expands on therapeutic progress.
