Dana is a Registered Clinical Social Work Intern who specializes in working with adolescents and young adults. She is passionate about supporting individuals navigating a range of challenges including anxiety, trauma, ADD/ADHD, OCD, life transitions, relationship conflicts, self-esteem concerns, and school-related stressors.

With a compassionate, person-centered approach, Dana meets each client exactly where they are. She believes in working collaboratively to support healing, growth, and overall well-being. Blending humor, kindness, and psychoeducational tools, Dana empowers clients to overcome obstacles and reach their personal goals.

Dana integrates a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to each individual’s needs, including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Mindfulness, Solution-Focused Therapy, CBT, and traditional talk therapy.

She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Florida Atlantic University and was accepted into FAU’s Advanced Standing Master’s Program, graduating with honors. Dana brings over six years of hands-on experience working with children and adolescents in both clinical and school-based settings. Her background includes training in trauma-focused therapy, school-based interventions, and clinical case management.

Dana’s goal is to create a safe and supportive space where clients can explore their inner experiences, even the ones that may feel uncomfortable to express. She aims to foster reflection, self-awareness, and personal insight to help clients better understand and navigate their past, present, and future. Through this process, Dana supports individuals in building a more meaningful, empowered, and fulfilling life—even in the face of grief, loss, or hardship.
