Brianna Lofters is a proud graduate of Nova Southeastern University (NSU) with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and is now pursuing her master’s degree at NSU in the Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) program. Raised in Kingston, Jamaica, Brianna is deeply fascinated by the complexities of the human mind and the intricate dynamics of mental health. Exploring the realms of therapy is something that she is passionate about and has dedicated most of her time to ensuring that the black and Caribbean population is heard, especially in the field of mental health. She currently has experience with seeing couples, individuals, and families through her therapy clinic on campus. By utilizing the Narrative Model, Brianna hopes to explore clients’ unique experiences through their lens and hopes to create a judgment-free space where clients of all ethnicities and sexual orientations can openly express themselves.
