Meet Emily

Dr. Emily Konicki graduated from Nova Southeastern University (NSU) with her Master’s degree and Doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy (DMFT) degree, with a concentration in Medical Family Therapy and Military Families. 

Emily is also a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who has has experience working with clients in both a school and clinical setting. She also has worked with individuals and families that present with a wide range of concerns such as anxiety, depression, adjustment related issues, and relationship issues. Emily’s counseling style is one that creates a safe environment where clients can be their most authentic self. She works from a collaborative approach to create a culturally sensitive and judgment-free space. 

Dr. Konicki has worked with Marriage and Family Services since 2020 and has grown with the agency. She currently serves as our Chief Clinical Officer managing credentialing and contracting for all licensed therapists. She also manages the human resources side of the agency – working with our therapists through the hiring and training process. Emily works closely with the administrative team to ensure that Marriage and Family Services provides excellent care for our clients and that client concerns are addressed appropriately.
