School-Based Therapist

Marriage and Family Services is currently looking to add to our team in several of our locations! We are looking for therapists with a Private Practice state-of-mind to join our family.

The therapist will provide outpatient therapy for children in a school-based setting for our Delray Beach, Plantation, Port St. Lucie, or Tampa locations. This role requires an ACTIVE Registered Intern or Licensed (MFT, MHC, LCSW) license. If you do not currently hold an ACTIVE license (intern or fully licensed), please do not apply until you do.

We are looking for independent clinicians who work with children and their families during school hours. Spanish speaking or Creole speaking would be helpful. Therapist is expected to hold a caseload of 15 clients (15 billable hours) per week minimum. Clinicians will be expected to be available during school hours, as services will be conducted in collaboration with the mental health team on the school’s campus. Clinician will provide services during student’s non-academic classes in a designated space on a specific school campus. Role offers group supervision and free play therapy training for staff, along with supportive administrative staff and accessible resources.

  • Master’s Degree is required (MFT, MHC, LCSW, or related field)
  • Play Therapy experience is preferred.
  • Experience with Biopsychosocial and Treatment Planning is preferred.
  • Specialized training is welcomed.
  • Starting Pay:
          Unlicensed Therapist: $40 per client contact hour, $45 per client hour for self-referrals, $50 for Broward and Tampa school locations     
          Licensed Therapist: $45 per client contact hour,  $45 per client hour for self-referrals, $50 for Broward and Tampa school locations    

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, 1099 contract
