Meet Marisa
Marisa holds a Bachelor's degree in Family and Child Sciences from Florida State University (Go 'Noles!) and a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern University. She is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Florida.
Marisa began her career with Marriage and Family Services, where she completed her student internship and worked as an administrative assistant. She later transitioned into the nonprofit sector, providing therapeutic support to individuals experiencing homelessness and struggling with substance use.
She advanced into a supervisory role, where she developed a passion for supporting therapists directly. This led to her current position in administration. In this role, she focuses on ensuring that therapists have the tools and support they need to prioritize client care. Marisa is dedicated to bridging the gap between clinical services and administrative operations, helping to create a collaborative environment that enhances therapeutic outcomes.
Having grown alongside the organization, Marisa values the strong relationships she's built with both colleagues and clients and finds deep fulfillment in contributing to their shared growth and success.
For administrative questions, comments, or concerns, Marisa can be reached through our main office line or via email at marisa@marriagefamilyservices.
