Elizabeth Cupp

Registered Clinical Social Work Intern

Meet Elizabeth

Tampa Team

Elizabeth is a Registered Clinical Social Work Intern (RCSWI) who brings warmth, empathy, and dedication to her work with children, adolescents, and families. She earned her Master of Social Work (MSW) from Florida Atlantic University, where she cultivated her passion for supporting young people through a trauma-informed lens. Elizabeth is especially drawn to the healing power of play therapy and to helping children process and recover from trauma in ways that are developmentally appropriate and emotionally safe.

Before beginning her journey as a therapist, Elizabeth spent a decade working as an elementary school teacher in Palm Beach County. This experience gave her a deep understanding of children's emotional, behavioral, and academic needs, and it continues to inform her clinical approach today. Her clinical internship experience in Infant Mental Health further enhances her ability to work with young children and their caregivers during critical stages of development.

Elizabeth is committed to supporting children and adolescents navigate challenges related to anxiety, depression, behavioral concerns, and life transitions. She strives to create a nurturing, collaborative space where young clients and their families feel heard, supported, and empowered. Her approach centers on building trusting relationships and tailoring support to meet each child's unique needs.

Elizabeth is honored to be part of each family's journey and looks forward to walking alongside them as they build resilience, heal, and grow together.
