Meet Zina
Plantation Team
Zina Nau is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Florida, exclusively
providing Telehealth services. She was born and raised in South Florida. As an
undergraduate at Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU), she studied psychology
and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in 2016. Zina then went to Nova
Southeastern University (NSU) to pursue a Master of Science in Family Therapy
and graduated in 2019. Zina has experience seeing individuals, families, and
couples in a clinical setting as well as at-risk children in the Broward County
school system.
On her path to becoming a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Zina was
extensively trained in using a systemic and Solution-Focused Brief therapy
approach to working with clients. In essence, she learned the importance of
looking at all sides of a situation and using a person's strengths, skills, and
resources to reach a goal and achieve positive change. She values using this
approach in her desire to help others. As a therapist, Zina strives to create an open
and safe therapeutic environment, build a strong rapport with her clients, and work
collaboratively with clients to meet their needs and achieve long-lasting success in
their lives.
