ADHD

This is a condition that includes attention difficulty, hyperactivity, and impulsiveness. ADHD may contribute to low self-esteem, troubled relationships, and difficulty at school or work.

When diagnosing ADHD, medical professionals will evaluate symptoms that will appear in three categories.

  • Symptoms that fall under the behavioral categories are aggression, excitability, fidgeting, hyperactivity, impulsivity, irritability, lack of restraint, or persistent repetition of words or actions.

  • Next we have cognitive symptoms. They are absent-mindedness, difficulty focusing, forgetfulness, problems paying attention, or short attention span.
