Dr. Kevin Joseph is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse

Practitioner (PMHNP), with a Doctorate in Nursing Practice licensed to practice in

the state of Florida. He graduated with his Bachelors in Nursing from Nova

Southeastern University and worked as a psychiatric nurse for several years. Dr.

Joseph graduated with his Doctorate in Nursing Practice with an emphasis in

Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from the University of Arizona. He completed

his dissertation on the “Implementation of the Adverse Childhood Experiences

Screening Tool In An Outpatient Psychiatric Setting”, which received the Mary

Opal Wolanin Outstanding Dissertation Award.

As a doctorally prepared nurse practitioner, Dr. Joseph prides himself in his

holistic and individualized approach to every client. This approach stems from the

understanding that mental health can affect multiple areas of one’s life. He treats

every client with individualized care and evidence-based interventions, and

utilizes medication in conjunction with therapy to improve patient outcomes.
