Emily graduated from Nova Southeastern University (NSU) with her Master’s degree in Family Therapy, with a concentration in Medical Family Therapy and Military Families. She is currently in her final year of the Doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy (DMFT) degree at NSU and hopes to graduate in August 2024.

Emily has worked with Marriage and Family Services since her initial training as a therapist in 2020. She currently serves as our Chief Officer of Quality Assurance managing credentialing and contracting for all licensed therapists. She also manages the human resources side of the agency – working with our therapists through the hiring and training process. Emily works closely with the administrative team to ensure that Marriage and Family Services provides excellent care for our clients and that client concerns are addressed appropriately. Emily is also a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who has has experience working with clients in a both school and clinical setting while utilizing a play therapy method. She also has worked with individuals that present with a wide range of concerns such as anxiety, depression, adjustment related issues, and relationship issues. Emily’s counseling style is one that creates a safe environment where clients can be their most authentic self.
