Meet Luisa
Delray Beach Team
Luisa Anderson is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Certified School Counselor who is bilingual in Portuguese and English. She has earned a Master’s degree in School Counseling in 2019 and a Specialist Degree in Mental Health Counseling in 2021, both from Florida Atlantic University.
Luisa’s clinical experience includes providing counseling within school systems and in private practice settings, which allowed her to understand and empathize with children, adolescents and adults as well as work with them toward personal and professional success.
She works as a therapist to adults, guiding them in overcoming challenges and fostering a healthy lifestyle including family, relationships, college and career goals, and challenging mental health diagnoses. She also has experience with adolescents presenting complex mental health issues including grief, anxiety, and depression.
Luisa’s counseling style focuses on the client finding solutions and acceptance so they feel capable of accomplishing short and long-term goals. She works with her clients toward a healthier path, helping them stay on that path or redirect themselves to it.
